Clothes have become the Trojan horse that makes art and life coincide; that is, they transform life into something entirely defined by art. Conversely, because of fashion, each of us is placed in the position of having to “produce something artificial in our lives” and turn our lives into artifacts and artworks. there is no more naturalness possible. There is no more escape from art.
