The RICH dress is a study in sculptural form and material sensitivity. It is crafted from handwoven Khadi silk–cotton, a fabric valued for its gentle irregularities and artisanal character. In this edition, the deep clay base is hand-stamped in the studio with the “Inner Sight” motif in anthracite, creating a subtle yet expressive surface. The natural texture of the weave is enhanced by a discreet silk sheen, giving the piece a quiet luminosity.
Unlike more structured pure silk versions, this fabric has a very soft, airy touch and moves fluidly with the body, allowing the silhouette to feel more organic and responsive. The single-layer construction emphasizes lightness and breathability while preserving the integrity of the textile.
The silhouette is reduced to a square, allowing form to emerge through gesture rather than construction. Two elongated triangular ties extend from the body, offering endless ways to wrap, drape, and shape — defining the waist, altering the length, or concealing volume as desired. Each configuration becomes an individual expression, shaped by phantasy.
