The KAMASI I shirt-jacket reinterprets the classic bomber silhouette through a softer, more fluid lens. Crafted from handwoven Khadi silk–cotton, it embodies lightness and the subtle richness of its irregular weave. The deep grey base is hand-stamped in our studio with the beige “Obsidian Seal” pattern.
While the shape references a bomber jacket, the material transforms it — allowing it to fall gently and move with the body rather than holding a rigid form. The stand collar and gathered sleeves with elastic create a sense of volume, while the adjustable drawcord hem allows the silhouette to shift, becoming either more contained or relaxed depending on styling. This interplay between structure and softness gives the piece its unique character, where a contemporary outline meets an almost Asian sensibility in texture and pattern.
Designed with versatility in mind, it can be worn as a light summer layer over other garments or as a shirt directly on the skin. Styled with skirts or trousers, open or closed, it adapts easily across different contexts.
